During 2006, D’FAT developed no-go zones and general skate rules promotional cards through a Skate Rules Review working group. This working group was formed in 2005 and involved users of the skate park located in Ellis Dean Reserve, New Norfolk.
These cards were developed after D’FAT conducted a review in 2005 of the current no-go zones and gained grant funding in 2006. The cards were officially launched in 2007.
These cards have been distributed by D’FAT at local schools, activities/projects and community events since 2007.
During 2010, D’FAT conducted a signage audit of no-zones located in New Norfolk. All signs were accounted for. Additionally, Derwent Valley Council liaised on behalf of D’FAT with the State Government and other Local Governments regarding alternative signage.
