{"id":7127,"date":"2023-11-05T16:41:35","date_gmt":"2023-11-05T06:41:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dfat.com.au\/mainwebsite\/?page_id=7127"},"modified":"2023-11-20T11:29:30","modified_gmt":"2023-11-20T01:29:30","slug":"facilitator","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.dfat.com.au\/mainwebsite\/what-is-dfat\/facilitator\/","title":{"rendered":"Facilitator"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfat.com.au\/mainwebsite\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"What is D\u2019FAT\">D&#8217;FAT<\/a> Facilitator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per D&#8217;FAT&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfat.com.au\/mainwebsite\/what-is-dfat\/constitution\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Constitution\">Constitution<\/a>, the Facilitator is appointed and discharged by the Board of the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>E-mail Address:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:facilitator@dfat.com.au\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"facilitator@dfat.com.au\">facilitator@dfat.com.au<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per <strong>rule 41 <\/strong>of D&#8217;FAT&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfat.com.au\/mainwebsite\/what-is-dfat\/constitution\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Constitution\">Constitution<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Board may appoint a person as the Facilitator of the Association for such period, and on such terms, as the Board resolves who is \u2013\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the age of 18 years or over; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an ordinarily resident of Tasmania; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not a member of the Board; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not the appointed Auditor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Facilitator will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Association and receive all delegated powers and responsibilities set out in any document approved by the Board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Facilitator will discharge and exercise all of his or her powers and responsibilities as Facilitator of the Association carefully, with skill, diligently and always in the best interests of the Association.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A person ceases to be the Facilitator if he or she \u2013\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>dies; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>retires; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>resigns in writing addressed to the Board; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ceases to be ordinarily resident of Tasmania; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>has their Working with Vulnerable People certification revoked; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>becomes convicted of a serious crime; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is removed by Board resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The D&#8217;FAT Facilitator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
